To use:
- Signup if you haven't already.
- Ensure that tringmegtalk@gmail.com is added as a friend in your Gtalk.
- Making Calls - To make a call, all you need to do is send a message to tringmegtalk@gmail.com from Gtalk.
- To make a call to a number, the message should be - call <number>. For e.g. call 18585551212 would initiate a call to 1-858-555-1212.
- You can also call other TringMe users by merely using their email address. For e.g., call abc@xyz.com would connect to user abc@xyz.com on whatever destination the user has chosen to terminate upon.
- You can reach several millions of worldwide SIP users using Gtalk just by typing their SIP URI. For e.g call greg@somesipserver.com will connect you to Greg’s SIP server.
- In all cases, you will get an inbound call from TringMe and once you answer, the call to the intended party will be initiated.
- Receiving Calls - If you have configured your "Reachability" settings to Gtalk, then all your incoming calls will terminate on Gtalk.
- In that case, for every incoming call, TringMe will call you on Gtalk and you will be connected with the call initiating party.
- Sending SMS - To send an SMS, merely type "sms <number> <message body>". If you prefer to send a message to someone using their TringMe email address, then type "sms <email address> <message body>".
